Yesterday,15th September 2020, we were privileged to have been invited by the Regional Nasara Coordinator for a workshop organized for the various constituency Nasara Coordinators held at Walewale, the West Mamprusi municipal capital.


The program, which was spearheaded by the commander of zongos and National Nasara Coordinator himself, Alhaji Abdul-Aziz Haruna Futa, also witnessed the presence of other dignitaries such as the CEO of Pharmacy council, Dr Rauf Audu, the deputy national TESCON coordinator, Salahu-deen Musah Al-Khomeini and Awal Mohammed, head of Public Relations at YEA.


The National Nasara Coordinator emphasized that NASARA is on an agenda to chase NDC out of the zongos and will need the collective efforts of all constituency coordinators on board to make it possible. We can not afford to disappoint the president for all the goodies he has so far given the people of Zongos, he lamented.





On our part, we officially announced the presence of Zongo Youth Patriots (ZYP) in the region and our mission of empowering the zongo communities through the Nasara wing. We also indicated to them that we have executives across the constituencies in the region and they are ever ready to work hand-in-hand with the constituency Nasara coordinators to achieve our objectives.

DR. GIDEON BOAKO TO SPONSOR ZONGO YOUTH PATRIOTS TANO NORTH CHAPTER EVERY MONTH.

  On Saturday 19th Sep 2020, Zongo Youth Patriots in collaboration with Yamfo and Susuanso NPP Youth held an Aerobic exercise and House to house campaign at Yamfo Zongo in the Tano North Municipality. We were thrilled  to have Great dignitaries to grace the event such as Dr. Gideon Boako Economic Adviser and spokesperson to the Vice President, Hon. Baba Gausu Mohammed, Ahafo Regional Secretary,NPP, Mrs Emelia Konadu Member of Tano North Campaign team, Mr Theophilus Kwadwo Bonsu, Member of Tano North Campaign team, Constituency Executives and members of the Constituency  Communication team led by Otchere Kwasi Peprah. Dignitaries met with the Chief of Yamfo Zongo  Awudu Naaba And Alhaji Uztar Mustapha Ibrahim,the chief Imam during their door to door encounter. ‘NDC will build more MORTUARIES in Zongo Communities’ – Mahama

  The 2020 Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has said that he plans building more mortuaries in Zongo Communities when voted into power. According to him, this forms part of the numerous intervention programmes which the NDC plans to put in place to develop Zongos and deprived communities when he takes over the governance of this nation in 2021. In an interview on Woezor TV, John Mahama said the mortuaries will help preserve the dead in Zongo areas. He said his government plans to implement this policy through the Zongo and Deprive Communities Fund which it will will set up when voted into power.
